One man was killed and at least seven other people were wounded in shootings Monday across Chicago.

The fatal shooting happened late Monday in Rogers Park on the North Side.

A 36-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 7400 block of North Rogers about 11 p.m. when several males approached and opened fire, police said.

He was shot in the lower back and left shoulder, and taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name was not immediately released Tuesday morning.

About 11:30 p.m., three people were wounded in two separate shootings.

Two people were hurt in a drive-by shooting in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, police said.

The 16-year-old boy and 20-year-old man were standing on a front porch in the 8400 block of South Loomis when a dark car drove by and someone inside opened fire, police said.

The teenager was shot in the left ankle and the man was shot in the right arm, police said. Both were taken to Little Company of Mary, where their conditions stabilized.

Also about 11:30 p.m., a 14-year-old boy was hurt in a shooting on the Far South Side.

He was standing on the sidewalk in the 300 block of East 132nd Place when a red SUV drove by and someone inside opened fire, police said.

He was shot in the lower left leg and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized.

Less than an hour earlier, a 19-year-old was shot in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

He was standing on the sidewalk in the 6200 block of South Evans about 10:40 p.m. when a dark car drove by and someone inside fired shots, police said.

He was shot in the right buttocks and left thigh, and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized.

About 8:15 p.m., a man was shot in West Town.

The  21-year-old man was shot in the back in the 2500 block of West Huron and taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said.

About 6 p.m., a male was shot in Logan Square.

The victim was shot in the hand in the 2800 block of West Cortland and taken to Saint Mary’s, where he was listed in good condition. Police said he was not cooperating with investigators.

Early Monday, a man was shot in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The 22-year-old man was shot in the 3900 block of West Roosevelt about 2:50 a.m., police said.

He walked into Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot, and was listed in good condition.
