A man was seriously injured in a fire early Monday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Firefighters responded to an apartment fire at 10948 S. Vernon Ave., according to Chicago Fire Media.

The man was transported to Roseland Hospital in serious condition, the department said. Three other people were displaced from the building.
