A teenage boy was shot Saturday morning in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 15-year-old was sitting in a vehicle at 10:27 a.m. in the 600 block of North Leamington when a dark-colored sedan pulled up and someone inside fired shots, striking him in the leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
