A 15-year-old girl was shot Saturday night in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

She was in an alley at 8:38 p.m. in the 7700 block of South Throop when she heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police. She had been shot in the right ankle.

The girl was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where her condition stabilized, police said.
