A 17-year-old girl who was reported missing from her him in the Northwest Side West Ridge neighborhood has been found safe.

Rania Shamoun went missing about 4:30 p.m. Saturday from the 2800 block of West Rosemont, according to a missing person alert from Area North detectives.

Police said Sunday afternoon that she had been found safe and reunited with her family.
