A 17-year-old girl was shot Saturday night in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

At 9:07 p.m., officers responded to a call of a person shot in the 8700 block of South Racine and found the girl with a gunshot wound to the right knee, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where her condition was stabilized, police said.
