A 17-year-old boy was shot in the chest Wednesday morning in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The shooting happened in the 4100 block of West Madison about 9:45 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

The teen was shot in the chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
