One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting Friday night in the Parkway Gardens neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened at 7:06 p.m. inside a building in the 6500 block of South King Drive, according to Chicago Police.

Armani Horton, 18, was shot in the upper back, and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he died at 7:54 p.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

A 25-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to a knee and was also taken to Northwestern, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
