Two men were wounded in a Thursday evening shooting in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The men, ages 45 and 23, were walking about 6:35 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Jackson when two people fired shots at them, according to Chicago Police.

The younger man was shot in the abdomen and was in serious condition, police said. The older man was shot in the buttocks and foot, and was in good condition.

They were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
