LB Lance Briggs (hip) and DT Darwin Walker (left elbow), who both sat out Sundays win over Green Bay, were participating in stretching drills at the beginning of practice Wednesday. Briggs announced in the locker room before the session that he expected to play against the New Orleans Saints.

CB Nathan Vasher (groin) and DT Tommie Harris (left knee) were sitting out, along with RT Fred Miller and QB Rex Grossman (knee). Miller has battled a partially torn MCL in his right knee all season, but the specific nature of his injury today is not yet know.

The team is expected to sign a defensive back to the practice squad at some point today.
