LB Lance Briggs will return from a hip injury to start today against the New Orleans Saints. Briggs will be an unrestricted free agent on March 1 and all signs point to him taking an offer from the highest bidder.

DT Darwin Walker will finish off his disappointing season in street clothes. Walker, who is expected to be released before March 1 as he has a $5.2 million option bonus due, injured his left elbow at Washington Dec. 6 and will end up missing the final three games despite practicing the last two weeks and being listed probable on Friday’s injury report.
