Running back P.J. Pope became the fourth player to sign a futures contract on Monday.

The Sun-Times reported earlier that guards Tyler Reed and Mike Jones and safety Leonard Peters were going to sign reserve/future deals.

Cornerback Greg Fassitt is also expected to sign a reserve/future contract, perhaps later this week.

UPDATE: While Fassitt told the Sun-Times Monday morning he expects to sign a deal, that his agent has been out of town, a league source indicated he could be waiting until the Bears’ exclusive period for negotiating rights ends to test the open market.
