It’s on!

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – So just how tight were the White Sox players? Well, 10 minutes before the game, Mark Buehrle stole the mascots four-wheeler and rode it into the outfield to a chorus of boos.

Manager Ozzie Guillen had his usual scouting meeting with the club before the game, but also told them he didn’t come here to play a few games – win or lose – pour some champagne on their heads and go home. No, Guillen said the goal is to win the World Series – period.
