WASHINGTON–As Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) noted Sunday, he believes it is pre-mature to speculate who Gov. Blagojevich will tap to replace Barack Obama if he is elected president. Nonetheless, the Chicago Defender

called for Jackson to succeed Obama, and the lawmaker blasted out the news in an e-mail.
