Paul Edingers stay with the Rush of the Arena League lasted only a week as it was announced he was released Monday evening.

The ex-Bears kicker has been seeking work since last playing for the Minnesota Vikings in 2005.

He’s had a few tryouts for NFL teams, most recently with the Giants last spring, but isn’t in the regular rotation of free agents that seemed to be called to whatever city has a kicking crisis.
