Buck of the Week: Unplugged

I don’t know if readers are messing with me or want to take the Buck of the Week feature down two paths, but enough photos of big bucks running around Chicago and the suburbs have come in over the last week to force the start of another feature: Buck of the Week: Unplugged.

I will start running Unplugged in the Sun-Times on Sundays, and posting the online versions of Unplugged on Saturdays or Sundays.

Even without requesting them, I have had enough good photos of big bucks roaming the Chicago area already to take us well into and probably beyond the rut.

BTW, the traditional BOTW, which begins running today online and Wednesday in the Sun-Times, is for stories and photos of special bucks bagged by hunters (bow or firearm).

Both BOTW and BOTW: Unplugged entries may be sent to outdoordb@sbcglobal.net.
