Just wanted to let people know that the season is not over! After seeing your fish of the week by the guy from Morton Grove I thought I would send in a pic of a fish that I caught on oct. 29th on Lake Delevan. Looks like Delavan is the place to be if you’re looking for 8lb+ largemouth!
It is the spot for monster largemouth near Chicago.
The Humboldt Park man added these details Details:
Temperature: 55degrees. water temp: 51degrees. wind: 15-20mph out of the east. overcast sky. Caught the fish in 12fow at about 8ft on a slip bobber with a large minnow. I was fishing the windblown west shore looking for weedbeds.
