BOTW runs in the Illinois Hunting Report in the Sun-Times outdoors page on Wednesdays. An extended online version appears here usually on Tuesday.

Because of interest and offerings, a new Buck of the Week: Unplugged for live bucks of note around Chicago and the suburbs runs in the outdoors page of the Sun-Times on Sundays, for as long as seems appropriate.

Rain has been good for Wally Neumann. Of his five book bucks, three have been taken in the rain.

Like all the others, he e-mailed that this one, which he said scored 182, was shot locally.

E-mail both BOTW or BOTW: Unplugged nominations to outdoordb@sbcglobal.net.
