If your kids have already finished all the Twilight books and need something else to read, you might want to turn them onto Julia Alvarez‘s latest young-adult novel, Return to Sender. It’s the story of a young boy whose family hires Mexican migrant workers to work on their Vermont farm. Questions ensue.

The In the Time of the Butterflies author will be reading from the book and answering questions at Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S. State, tonight at 6 p.m. The novel will also be available for purchase.
