After the Grammys, a Grammy nominee

Chicago’s Syleena Johnson was nominated for a Grammy, and she’s performing on Grammys night! But wait the nomination was in 2004 (for her vocals on Kanye West’s hit “All Falls Down”) and her performance this weekend isn’t at the Grammys. She is, however, celebrating her fourth album, “Labor Pains,” with a hometown show at 10 p.m. Sunday at Rednofive, 440 N. Halsted. Beats watching the actual Grammys, which will just be wrapping up by then.
