Raiders' Black Eye: Terdell Sands punched Shane Lechler in the face

Kickers generally take a verbal beating from their bigger, more athletic teammates. It’s just the way the world works.

A far more tangible beating was bestowed on Raiders punter Shane Lechler by Terdell Sands on the team flight home from Denver on Nov. 23. According to five sources, Sands punched Lechler in the face.

Sands was not suspended or fined by the team.
