Thursday, March 5, 2009: Mrs. Obama will visit Miriam’s Kitchen, a local non-profit organization that provides healthy, nutritious meals to the homeless in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Obama will highlight the need to support food banks and soup kitchens around the country as demand for these services increases. This event, scheduled for lunchtime, will be pooled press.
