Legion to join Isiah Thomas at FIU

SHARE Legion to join Isiah Thomas at FIU

Alex Legion, who left the Illinois program earlier this week, will transfer to Florida International and play for Isiah Thomas, Jeff Goodman reported on FoxSports.com.

FIU will be the third school for Legion, a Detroit native who began his college career at Kentucky.

To play one more full year of Division I or II basketball as a fifth-year senior, Legion will need to sit out the rest of this season and all of next season, Illini coach Bruce Weber told reporters.
