Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane was named to the U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team today, the only member of the team to receive the honor.
Kane has tallied 17 goals and 28 assists this season.
Dustin Byfuglien, another hopeful, was not one of the 23 players chosen to represent the U.S. in Vancouver next month. He was among 34 players invited to a summer orientation camp for prospective players.
