This may be the last Buck of the Week for the 2009-10 season and it goes a tather-and-son combo from Beecher, Brian and Austin Hoekstra, 11.

I think this is the last BOTW for the year, and it seems nice to go out on this note. I have been holding this one for more than a month.

A little extra effort went a long way.

They made one more try on the final day of the first firearm season. And it paid off with this nice 8-point. They were hunting public land in Jefferson County near Mount Vernon.
