SHARE Report: Xavier Nady to the Cubs, pending physical

Tim Brown of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that outfielder Xavier Nady has agreed to a one-year contract with the Cubs.

Nady, 31, hit .305 with 25 homers and 97 RBIs in 2008 while splitting time between the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates. The .280 career hitter appeared in just seven games last year.
