Ticket giveaway: The Damnwells

SHARE Ticket giveaway: The Damnwells

No one’s going to confuse The Damnwells with Radiohead, but the two groups do have one thing in common: they both released their latest albums as free downloads. This kind of creative marketing (they’re also accepting donations to help them record their new record) has kept the Brooklyn indie band in the spotlight, even as its original lineup has all but disbanded (guitarist and lead singer Alex Dezen is a constant). But don’t think the music is an afterthought. If you like Wilco, The Jayhawks or other acoustically minded rock bands, you’ll want to check these guys out.

In the spirit of “freemium” content, Centerstage is giving away 3 pairs of tickets to the Damnwells’ show on Saturday, January 9 at Double Door with Flame Shark and Katie Todd. To enter, visit Facebook.
