WASHINGTON–With unconfirmed reports that Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens is stepping down coming out on Friday, speculation rises on who will be President Obama’s second Supreme Court nominee–with Chicago’s Diane Wood one of the contenders. Wood has been a judge of the Chicago based U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit since 1995 and was in the running for the seat Obama tapped Justice Sonia Sotomayor to fill.
