Briggs is All-Pro Again

Brian Cushing’s loss is Lance Briggs’ gain.

The Texans linebacker vacated his All-Pro second-team spot after testing positive for a banned substance. After the re-vote, Briggs and Steelers linebacker James Harrison have tied for the honor of being the second-team outside linebacker, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette by way of ProFootballTalk.com

Brigs was a first-team All-Pro pick in 2005 and second team in ’06. He has also been to five Pro Bowls.

Cushing, by the way, flatly denies that he took anything illegal.

If being named All-Pro again triggers any type of clause in his contract, should Briggs send Cushing a check?
