WEEKEND GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

SATURDAY, MAY 1 AND SUNDAY, MAY 2, 2010

On Saturday, the President will deliver the commencement address at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The commencement is open press. In the evening, the President and the First Lady will attend the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, where the President will deliver remarks. There will be travel pool coverage of the President’s remarks.

The President will travel to Louisiana on Sunday. Further details will be made available tomorrow.

Schedule for Week of May 3, 2010

On Monday, the President will present the Commander in Chief’s trophy to the Naval Academy football team at an event at the White House.

On Tuesday, the President will address the annual meeting of the Business Council in Washington, DC. The President will discuss his efforts to spur job creation and rebuild our economy for years to come. He will also address the important role the business community plays in the fight to get the American people back to work.

On Wednesday, the President will travel to New Jersey where he will deliver remarks on the economy. In the evening, he will attend a reception and celebration of Cinco de Mayo at the White House.

On Thursday, the President will meet with his national security team on Afghanistan and Pakistan.

On Friday, the President will attend meetings at the White House
