BIKE THE DRIVE: Bike the Drive is Sunday. It is one of those things I have meant to do for years, and haven’t. And I will not be doing this one either. One of these years, I just need to schedule it in. It would be very cool to bike down Lake Shore Drive.

CATS & CARP: Momence Park District is holding the first Big Cat & Carp Quest, a family fishing event. For $10, families are entered in contest for the biggest carp and catfish from the Kankakee River at Island Park. It runs through Monday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
