Barry Chapman and a friend found this interestingly placed batch of morels in Lake County in Indiana in early May, and this seems like a good place to end Morel of the Week for 2010.

MOTW, which tops the Field Notes on the outdours page of the Sun-Times on Sundays in the spring. An online version appears here, usually on Saturday or Sunday during the season.

MOTW started last year from a reader suggestion I liked. If you have something similar to suggest, e-mail
