DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2011

In the morning, the President will travel to Detroit, Michigan. The arrival at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport is open press.

While in Michigan, the President will tour General Motors Orion Assembly and give remarks on the trade agreement with South Korea that will open up economic opportunities and support jobs on both sides of the Pacific. The President will be joined by President Lee of the Republic of Korea. The tour of General Motors Orion Assembly is pooled press only. President Obama and President Lee’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media.

Later, the President will return to Washington, DC. The departure from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn are open press.
