WASHINGTON–Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), commenting on the death of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi said the U.S. and NATO allies should “take pride in the fact that they have given the people of Libya the chance to rule their own future.” Durbin said he hoped the new government will have tolerance of people of different backgrounds.
Durbin’s remarks came in an interview with Andrea Mitchell on her MSNBC show.
