Allison Cisneros talks about what drew her to Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie this afternoon on “Outside,” and how she became the become volunteer coordinator for The Nature Conservancy there.

Along the way, she will talks about volunteers, youth volunteers and the power of the prairie.

And truly, more and more, I am beginning to think he power of the people volunteering is what will form Midewin into a natural place of note. As it should be for the largest wild space near Chicago.
