Chicago mayoral rivals take aim at Ald. Ed Burke, Council powerbroker

No matter who is elected the next Chicago mayor–the days of Ald. Ed Burke (14th) being the major powerbroker on the City Council may be over; that’s the headline from Monday’s debate between Rahm Emanuel, Carol Moseley Braun, Gery Chico and Miguel del Valle. Burke backs Chico for mayor.
