DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2011

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The President will then meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with Secretary of State Clinton. This meeting is closed press.

Afterwards, the President and the Vice President will meet with the Senate Democratic Leadership. Expected attendees include Senator Reid, Senator Durbin, Senator Schumer and Senator Murray.

Later in the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks in the East Room on the America’s Great Outdoors initiative. President Obama established the America’s Great Outdoors initiative on April 16, 2010, and charged the Secretaries of the Departments of the Interior and Agriculture, the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality to develop a 21st century conservation and recreation strategy based on the priorities of American communities. This event is open press.
