WASHINGTON–The biggest expense of the House of Representatives is on salaries and benefits, a Sunlight Foundation study found.

Sunlight, a non-partisan organization dedicated to making government more transparent, crunched reports by House members to provide a comparative snapshot on spending, with some provisos, detailed at the click.
