DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, MARCH 8, 2011

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

Later, the President will travel to Boston, Massachusetts. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at Logan International Airport are open press.

In the afternoon, the President will visit a classroom at TechBoston Academy with Melinda Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. The classroom visit will be travel pool coverage. The President will then deliver remarks on how winning the future in education will require shared responsibility that government, businesses, philanthropists, and communities have to promote innovative education strategies that will prepare American students to compete in a 21st century economy. The President’s remarks are open press.

In the evening, the President will attend a DCCC fundraiser at the Museum of Fine Arts. The President’s remarks at the fundraiser will be print pool only coverage.

Later in the evening, the President will return to Washington, DC. The departure from Logan International Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn are open press.
