SHARE Mitt Romney launches 2012 president exploratory committee

WASHINGTON–Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney on Monday announced formation of an exploratory committee to mount a second bid for the White House, joining what may well be a crowded 2012 GOP primary field.

“It is time we put America back on a course to greatness,” Romney said on a YouTube video, with the announcement also going out on Twitter.
