SHARE Obama in Chicago: Ninth visit home, this one for Oprah Winfrey

WASHINGTON–President Obama and First Lady Michelle make a rare visit home on Wednesday to tape an Oprah Winfrey show; the president touches down in Chicago for a little more than three hours. This will be Obama’s ninth visit back to Chicago since becoming president. After the Chicago stop, Obama heads to New York for a series of fund-raisers to benefit his 2012 re-election campaign.

Obama’s last visit was April 14, when Obama hit Chicago for three fund-raisers and a night at his Kenwood home.
