DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
THURSDAY, MAY 26, 2011
In the morning, the President will depart London, United Kingdom and travel to Deauville, France. The departure from Stansted Airport and the arrival at Deauville-Saint-Gatien Airport are open press.
Later in the morning, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Medvedev of Russia at the Hotel Royal Barriere in Deauville, France. There will be a pool spray for statements by President Obama and President Medvedev at the bottom of the meeting.
In the afternoon, the President will arrive at Villa Le Cercle and be welcomed by President Sarkozy. There will be travel pool coverage. The President will then attend the G-8 Leaders Working Lunch at Ville Le Cercle. This lunch is closed press.
Later, the President will attend two G-8 Working Sessions. There will be pool sprays at the top of both meetings.
Later, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Kan of Japan at the Hotel Royal Barrierre. There will be a pool spray for the President and Prime Minister Kan’s statements at the top of the meeting.
In the evening, the President will attend dinner with G-8 Leaders at Le Ciro’s Barriere Restaurant in Deauville, France. The dinner is closed press.
