DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
FRIDAY, MAY 27, 2011
In the morning, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Sarkozy of France at the Hotel Royal Barriere in Deauville, France. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of the meeting for statements by President Obama and President Sarkozy.
Later in the morning, the President will participate in a G-8 Working Session at the Centre International de Deauville. This working session is closed press. The President will then participate in another G-8 Working Session and an expanded G-8 Working Session at the Centre International de Deauville. There will be pool sprays at the top of those meetings. The President will then participate in the G-8 Family Photo. There will be a stills only pool spray.
Later, the President will participate in an expanded working lunch with G-8 Leaders at Villa Le Cercle . This lunch is closed press.
In the afternoon, the President will travel from Deauville, France to Warsaw, Poland. The President will change planes in Paris, France. There will be travel pool coverage of the President’s departure from Deauville, France and arrival and departure in Paris, France. The President’s arrival at the Warsaw Chopin Airport is open press.
In the evening, the President will participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw, Poland. The President will then participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial. There will be travel pool coverage of both events.
Later in the evening, the President and President Komorowski of Poland will host a dinner for Central and European Union Leaders at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, Poland. The President’s arrival at the Presidential Palace is open press. There will be a pool spray at the top of the dinner.
