Mitt Romney is back on for Wisconsin.

“Romney will be at State Fair Park Friday morning,” Brian Schimming, first vice chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin told the Chicago Sun-Times on Tuesday.

After Hurricane Sandy started building, Romney had canceled an event scheduled for West Allis — right outside of Milwaukee — on Monday.

Obama, too, had cancelled events in Green Bay, Wisc. for Tuesday.

But Wisconsin’s electoral votes remain important to both campaigns. Vice Presidential contender Paul Ryan was out in different parts of the state on Tuesday.
