Wide receiver Earl Bennett, still recovering from a hand injury, heads the Bears’ inactive list for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville.

Bennett, who missed last week’s game against the Cowboys, practiced this week and said he felt ready to play. By being inactive this week he will have four weeks off before the Bears play the Lions on Monday Night Football on Oct. 22 at Soldier Field.

The Bears’ other inactives are guard/tackle Chris Williams, running back Kahlil Bell, fullback Evan Rodriguez, guard/center Edwin Williams, defensive tackle Nate Collins and defensive end Cheta Ozougwu.

With Bell inactive, Armando Allen will be the Bears’ No. 3 running back. And defensive tackle Matt Toeaina will be active after being inactive the past three games.
