Fox's Terry Bradshaw to Jay Cutler: 'Grow up young man'

Fox-TV pre-game co-host and Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshow offered his take Sunday on Bears quarterback Jay Cutler’s sideline snub of

offensive coordinator Mike Tice in Dallas on Monday. And, like before, it wasn’t positive.

“I know I would never act like that,” Bradshaw said on ”NFL Sunday”, hours

before the Bears played the Jaguars in Jacksonville. “I would show

respect to the head coach and offensive coordinator. I would never do,

Jay, what you did to Mike Tice. No matter if he was in your ear the

whole time screaming and hollering.

“You know you’ve got millions of people watching. If I were you, I

would learn how to be a little bit nicer. I know you don’t care and

nor do I care if I ever sit down and do an interview with you – which

I have yet to do – maybe there’s a reason for that. I like everybody.

I’d like to like you but right now I don’t like you. Grow up young

man.”

Tice said Wedneday that “Jay and I are good.” Cutler also played

extremely well in the 34-18 rout of the Cowboys during “Monday Night

Football.”

“He probably had enough of me telling him why the play didn’t work,” a

laughing Tice said. “I get enough of me sometimes, too. I can talk a

little bit as you guys know.

“The heat of the battle, it’s tough. A lot of things happen on the

sidelines. A lot of things happen over the course of a game. I was

really angry about the fact that we didn’t make that third-and-one. I

was in his ear from the time he came off the field to the time he went

over and put his helmet down. At a certain point probably enough’s

enough.”

Cutler also said multiple times that it wasn’t an issue.

“We talk about it just because it’s so prevalent in the media for

whatever reason, but it wasn’t an issue then and it’s not an issue

now,” Cutler said. “We’re happy with the win. We’re looking forward to

Jacksonville. We’ve just got to keep working hard and offensively take

another step forward.”
