Nickelback D.J. Moore, who has seen his playing time diminish over the past five weeks of the season, is inactive for the Bears’ game against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football at Candlestick Park.

Moore had 11 tackles and an interception against the Cowboys in Week 4 and also had an interception against the Lions in Week 7. But Kelvin Hayden has been getting the majority of the nickelback snaps in recent weeks. In fact, Moore did not play against the Texans last week.

The Bears’ other inactive players for the 49ers game are quarterback Jay Cutler, defensive end Shea McClellin, wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher, guard/center Edwin Williams, defensive tackle Matt Toeaina and defensive end Cheta Ozougwu.

With Cutler, McClellin and Moore inactive for the first time this season, defensive tackle Amobi Okoye and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery will be active for the first time in four games. Jeffery has been recovering from a broken hand. Okoye has been a coach’s decision.

Josh McCown will be the Bears’ No. 2 quarterback against the 49ers.
