Trinity Bulow showed the full potential of the Kankakee River when the 11-year-old fished with her father and mother on Aug. 5 at the Des Plaines State Fish and Wildlife Area near Wilmington.
“We caught a lot a smallmouth, including my daughter Trinity Bulow’s 20-inch, 5-pound smallmouth one cast after her first river trip for smallies,” her father David Bulow emailed.
She caught the trophy smallmouth on a brown Yamamoto Hula Grub. It was released.
