Radio Waves: A couple guest appearances

SHARE Radio Waves: A couple guest appearances

It’s one of those weekends where I am making radio appearances again, but this is a first with appearances on Saturday and Sunday to discuss things in the news of the outdoors.

Saturday, I am doing “Region Bass Buzz” on WJOB-AM (1230) in Hammond at 7 a.m. Bobby Bergren invited me on to talk about a variety of topics.

He, Mike Echterling and Pat Renwick host a rare two-hour outdoors radio show, from 6-8 a.m. on Saturdays.

It covers the Calumet region, which has been much in the news this week. Renwick pointed out there are four ways to watch the show: AM-1230, wjob1230.com, RegionBassBuzz.com or download the WJOB app for your smart phones.

On Sunday morning, I am doing Mike Jackson Outdoors radio show at 6:30 a.m. Mike Jackson and I usually wander around the outdoors landscape.

Jackson’s show is 6-7 a.m. Listen to WSBC-AM (1240) or WCFJ-AM (1470) or click here for online listening options.
