The gradual transition to the CTA’s Ventra payment system continues to cause headaches for some users and sure enough, they’ve taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations share their experiences.
As runners from around the world flock to the city for the Chicago Marathon, they are facing delays even before stepping onto a bus or train. The CTA has added extra staff to help address the issue, including separate tables to purchase fair cards, to address what they call an expected Columbus Day weekend.
